Order DirecTV for Virtual Blizzcon and get a Polar Bear Mount!

by Silch on Nov.22, 2009, under , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

Blizzard and DirecTV recently released plans to offer a Polar Bear
mount in the hit PC game World of Warcraft to all individuals who watch the Pay-Per-View BlizzCon event on DirecTV. All new subscribers will receive the Pay-Per-View event free (including mount) while current subscribers must shell out $39.95.
I read that over at n4g.com, so this sounds pretty cool right, we get DirecTV, BlizzCon, AND a polar bear mount(I love polar bears<3), I would order DirecTV for it but I already have DirecTV, so everyone who is planning on getting this, let me know how the polar bear mount is and let me know how this years BlizzCon is!

Keep your heads up for BlizzCon this year because I heard from a Blizzard Poster over at the Diablo II forums that BlizzCon 2010 is supposed to be 80% about Diablo III!!! WOO!! I cannot wait for Diablo III, there is so much hype coming from me and you will probably hear a lot about it in the coming months from me. I hope this information is worthy to you, but I must be off now. See you around everyone!

Google hides Snake game in youtube videos.

by Silch on Nov.22, 2009, under

I don't know how long this has been around, or how it came about, but some youtuber's found an easter egg in a video which lets you play a game of snake if you press pause and hold down the left arrow key. I think this is pretty fun and clever.

All you do is open watch this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XCcmrL29WII
Press pause anywhere in the video, and hold the left arrow key then enjoy the game of Snake.

Tell me what you all think of this, I think it is pretty cool, drop a comment in the section below :)

FreeJack: Climbing the ladder to the top.

by Silch on Nov.22, 2009, under , , , , , , , , , ,

Here I am, Silch, leader of the No Fear Alliance, sitting in my room watching t.v as I slip on my shoes and gloves. I put on my lid and I climb out of my second story apartment window, where I land on the fire escape and jump over the railing and into a roll. I am in the city, and it is my personal playground, people like myself are racing to the top of the ranks. So much adrenaline but I love it, I will climb to the top and become the best there is.

"Life is short so live it; Know all obsticals, and overcome all fear"...That's what my dad use to tell me before I went on my own. I started the No Fear Alliance because I wanted people like myself to have some friends, and so we could race together, even race eachother. It's not a very big group yet, but we will thrive. If you have got what it takes why not come to me and I will invite you to my group, and we can race together. (http://freejack.gamerkraft.com/)

Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth

by Silch on Nov.22, 2009, under , , , , , , , , ,

Alright so here we are with Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth. Personally, I love this game, it's scary, it has puzzles to it, You will see what I am talking about. Call of Cthulhu is an Adventure/Horror game, you play as a former police detective by the name of Jack Walters. Jack gets admitted to a mental hospital and got diagnosed with severe schizophrenia, but he got released a few years later when they determined that he was no harm to himself or others. In the cutscene you watch right before you play the game, Jack gets a phone call from a guy named Arthur Anderson to investigate the first national grocery store in Innsmouth for leads on the missing clerk Brian Burnham.
Over the course of the game, Jack slowly unravels the strange and terrible secrets behind Innsmouth, the Burnham case, and even the Boston incident that initially landed him in the asylum. Jack must try to survive and remain sane despite the horrors of the new case and his afflictions.

Sound:

Ok, personally I like the sound, it really is eerie and it brings the game to life. The Innsmouth locals have a really weird voice which would bring me horrors if I went there in real life, and the sounds you get when Jack goes schizophrenic. They are creepy, sometimes he hears a little girl crying or playing in the sewers.

Graphics:

The graphics are not so to date, but they are very dark. nuff said.

Gameplay:

I love the gameplay, at first you are just trying to find leads on the missing Brian Burnham, then the town becomes your enemy which leads to a chase at the hotel. You run through hotel rooms and bolt lock the doors behind you to keep them occupied, then you jump out of the window to a platform across the ally. You enter that building through the rooftop and you see the "Stealth" type gameplay. I will not talk to much about it so you can see for yourself but I love the gameplay.

Story:

I will not say much about the story as you already know most of it by reading this. It's a great story and will keep you at the edge of your seat.

So I will give Sound an 8/10, Graphics a 6/10, Gameplay an 8/10, and Story a 9/10

Anyway, that just about sums up this post, I will be posting more content soon, come back to my blog to keep updated.

Recommended Website of the Day.

by Silch on Nov.22, 2009, under , , , , , ,

Hello everyone, not sure if you ever heard of Onrpg.com before, but it's a great website for game related information. I visit it about 10 times a day, and I just started posting more frequently.
You can find single player games and guides, online games and tutorials, Massively Multi-player Online Role Playing Games and tutorials, and even game development tutorials. It is a forum board strictly related to gaming of course.

I recommend going to that website because it is LOADED with information. I love it and so do many others, I deffinatly couldn't keep up to date with the latest gaming news without it.

FreeJack from Gamerkraft.com!

by Silch on Nov.22, 2009, under , , , , , , , , ,

FreeJack from Gamerkraft.com!

Ok everyone, FreeJack is an awesome game, I love it. Some of you may not know what FreeJack is so I will write a short introductory for it.

FreeJack is an online parkour/free-running racing game, there are 3 game modes so far which names are: Mission, Training, and Versus. Mission is kind of like a single-player mode, you do missions and you win some cash for clothes or decorations for your home (We will get to that later). Training is your “Parkour Training Challenges”, all you do is learn how to play the game and how to do different stunts. Versus is the online game mode where you join a room and race up to 8 players using parkour to your advantage to get from point A to point B faster than your opponent. There is another game mode in versus which allows you to use items as skills.

Personally I love this game, it is truly awesome. I suggest everyone to try it out when it gets released. It will be free of course and the website to the game is freejack.gamerkraft.com. So far I have ran in about 30 races, I have leveled up, I have gained my money and I have customized my character. These races are pretty intense, there are some really good players that I can’t catch up to, I have not once gotten first place yet either in the races, but it’s alright because most of the players are nice, and you got awesome tricks and stunts that you can pull off…

Well that’s about all I can share for right now, I will keep you guys updated on this game as I play and test it, stay tuned.
